I like to eat.

Oh hi there. I’m Jackie and I like to eat. For as long as I remember I always enjoyed food. When I moved out on my own (12 years ago now) I picked up cooking and spent my weekends experimenting in the kitchen (and I still do!) I’m not by any means an amazing cook or baker, but over the years I’ve learned to make things I like and I think about what I’m eating (so I’m not using food as a crutch for emotions). I mean, we’ve all been there right?! On top of that, I used nutrition as a tool to help me recover from a back injury that I’ll get into in a later post for those who want to read about that.

Last month, I became a Certified Holistic Nutritionist through the Alive Academy. Everyone keeps asking me “what are you going to do with it?” My answer for now is: “EAT!” and share my knowledge to those who want to hear it. The more I learn about nutrition I feel like I know less and less, but I love sharing the cool things I run into along the way. So this blog will be me. Doing that. Sharing the healthy stuff I do.
