Recipe: Banana oatmeal cookies

If these are not the easiest cookies ever, then show me what recipe is easier than this!

These are 2 ingredient cookies, then you get creative to add what you want!

Base ingredients:

  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup of oats

Put one cup of oats in a blender or food processor to make a flour.  In a bowl add oats to one mashed banana. Then add in your own flavour! This could be a few dark chocolate chips, vanilla extract, cinnamon, pumpkin seeds, raisins – the sky is the limit!

Place on a cookie sheet in small dollops (and flatten them out a bit). Bake at 350 for 9 to 11 minutes (depending on your oven). Allow to cool!

In my house, even the pickiest of eaters enjoyed these! So much so that I couldn’t take a photo of them – hence the cartoon cookie in the post!

Get creative and make some cookies! These are great for a snack, or even a breakfast on the go!

Also these cookies freeze well! So make some in advance!
