Review: Thieves Household Cleaner

Hey Folks! So for those of you who know me, I’m not a fan of direct marketing sales or MLM or whatever you like to call it. There’s something about it that just doesn’t sit well with me – or maybe that’s me just being sensitive to it after being duped and losing money in a company years ago. Oh young Jackie, how far you’ve come. Lots of stuff out there is repackaged garbage marketed towards people who think they need a product to fulfill something in their life. I’m also a tad anti-marketing too as I feel like there’s something dishonest about it. I dunno – that’s just me. Whoa there, I didn’t mean to get into a rant about my personal feelings this morning but hey it’s typed out now! Guess a quiet household and my collagen infused coffee has given me some space and time to think! Ok, rant over. Let’s get into it.

This new house cleaner I just tried is pretty amazeballs. It’s Young Living’s Thieves Household Cleaner. I’ve been meaning to slowly switch to natural household cleaner and have tried things in the past that simply just don’t clean! I have a house full of love and life (which means a crazy family – smelly hockey bags and sandy park boots included-, along with pets and actual dirt) so I need something that will remove dirt and grime and whatever else I find easily. (You’re going to laugh but it’s so gross and not uncommon to find mud and yes, poo in my house from our very large doberman).

Theives cleaner has this crazy magic eraser quality to it. I was VERY impressed at the performance of it. I’ve used it on my floors, countertops, and this morning I cleaned my microwave with it. It’s saving me time in scrubbing and I had to share that with you. I’m all about the things that make life easier (and healthier!)

So what is Thieves oil? Thieves essential oil is a combination of Clove, Lemon, Cinnamon, Eucalyptus Radiata, and Rosemary essential oils. So yes, it smells like Christmas – and it’s awesome!

Where can you get this stuff? Well I purchased from Young Living and I hope he doesn’t mind but I’m going to shout out my friend Steve here at The Oily Farmhouse. He’s so nice and honest, and has amazing resources on how to use the different products.

So there you have it folks! My new household cleaner is here to stay! YAY! And it’s safe for pets and babies to be around. BOOYAH! My endocrine system is going to thank me long term! (Your endocrine system is basically your body’s operating system, and it doesn’t like chemicals).
